Overview

The Logger Softball Field is home to the University of Puget Sound Softball team. The surrounding facility features a newly renovated batting cage, bullpen, and team clubhouse. Spectators can also catch a glimpse of Mount Rainier in center field. We’re excited to host the Revolution Softball Camps at University of Puget Sound. Join us and have fun while improving your softball skills!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!


About Our Coaches

Dale Griffith

Dale Griffith is Head Softball Coach at Ballard High School was named the 2021-2022 Metro Coach of the Year. Coach Griffith has led his teams to a 46-18 record over the past 3 seasons with back to back 3A Washington State Tournament appearances.  

A Seattle native, Griffith has been around the game of baseball most of his life.  He started playing T-Ball for the Nordstrom family, Little League baseball for Seattle Central and Rainier and was named to several all-star selection teams.  Griffith attended Foster High School in Tukwila. WA where he started as a freshman, was a four time Varsity standout and served as Captain.  

When a shoulder injury cut his playing career short, Griffith found a passion for teaching, academic advising and coaching.  As a Bill and Melinda Gates Achiever Scholarship recipient, Coach Griffith earned his Associates Degree from Bellevue Community College and his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Eastern Washington University.  

Coach Griffith is excited to share his energy and experience at the Revolution Softball Camps.


Camp Details

Overnight Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday. Campers should be picked up at 4PM Wednesday.

Extended Day Campers: Check in at 12PM-1PM Sunday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 8:30PM Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and at 4PM Wednesday. (Lunch and dinner are included)

Make sure campers bring all necessary softball equipment (bat, helmet, glove, cleats, shoes, etc.), refillable water bottle, and sunscreen.

CAMP SCHEDULE
Extended-Day Camp
Sunday: check in 12:30pm-1pm and goes until 8:30pm (dinner included)
Monday: 9am-8:30pm (lunch and dinner included)
Tuesday: 9am-8:30pm (lunch and dinner included)
Wednesday: 9am-4pm (lunch included)
