Facilities: St. Timothy’s School is a prestigious college preparatory school with first-rate athletic facilities. The 145 acre campus and close-knit dormitories, dining and athletic facilities providing a secure environment in which to grow and develop as a athlete.

Dorms: Residential life includes both Carter & Heath House. Each includes a common room, wifi, a kitchen for making snacks and laundry facilities. Choosing to board at camp has valuable life skills to learn – about self-reliance, resilience, grit. You will develop independence within a warm and friendly environment, and that’s great preparation for the academic and social transitions ahead.

Dining: Great food and excellent service are the hallmarks of the Bon Appetit Management Company, one of the country’s premier farm-to-fork food service companies. Meals are buffet style and the space is set up for family style seating.  Please let us know in advance of any allergies.

About Our Coaches

Julia Culotta

Culotta completed her first season as Head Coach of The Stevenson University Mustangs in 2017. She led the team to nine wins after the team graduated four of the top five hitters from the season prior. Culotta recorded her first career head coaching win with a 15-5 walk-off victory versus Minn.-Morris.

Prior to Stevenson, Culotta spend the previous five seasons serving as an assistant coach at her alma mater and Division I UMBC.

Culotta joined the staff at UMBC in June 2011 following a standout playing career with the Retrievers and was elevated to full-time status in January, 2012.  She worked primarily with the team’s hitting as well as the outfielders.  During her tenure in Catonsville, she helped coach a total of 19 America East All-Conference selections, including Taylor Hall, the league’s Co-Rookie of the Year.  UMBC made a pair of America East Championship appearances, most recently in 2016.

As a senior at UMBC, Culotta was named America East All-Conference after batting .384 with nine home runs, 33 runs batted in and 37 runs scored.  She ranked in the top five in the conference in batting average, slugging percentage (.645), on-base percentage (.506), total bases (89) and walks (32).  In addition, she had nine doubles and was 10-of-12 in stolen base attempts on the season.  As a senior, Culotta ranked in the top-100 in the NCAA for batting average (96th) and walks (53rd), as well as the top-50 in the country in on-base percentage (41st).

Culotta is tied for eighth all-time at UMBC with 21 home runs in her four years, and she ranks sixth with 84 walks. She amassed 155 hits, 96 RBI, 25 doubles and 93 runs in 207 career games, one of 14 Retrievers to appear in at least 200 career games.  Culotta served as a team captain in 2011 as a senior and was a four-time selection to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

Before coming to UMBC, Culotta was a redshirt freshman at the University of Tennessee in 2007 as the Volunteers finished as runners-up at the Women’s College World Series.

Culotta has worked at a variety of camps, staffing camps at UMBC, TNT, Towson University, Jerrad Hardin, Softball Factory and the Florida Rising Stars.

Camp Details

Check In: 12pm – 1pm for both commuters and overnight campers. Tip for Extended Day Campers is to come at 12:30pm. First meal is Dinner.

Check Out: Parents are invited to attend skills review session at 9:00 am. Program ends at 11:30 am. Last meal is breakfast.


Day Camp

Sunday: check in 12-1pm and goes until 4pm (1 softball session)

Monday: 9am-4pm (2 softball sessions, lunch included)

Tuesday: 9am-4pm (2 softball sessions, lunch included)

Wednesday: 9am-12pm (1 softball sessions)

Extended-Day Camp

Sunday: check in 12-1pm and goes until 8:30pm (2 softball sessions, evening activities, dinner included)

Monday: 9am-8:30pm (2-3 softball sessions, with evening activities, lunch and dinner included)

Tuesday: 9am-8:30pm (2-3 softball sessions, with evening activities, lunch and dinner included)

Wednesday: 9am-12pm (1 softball sessions)

Spending Money: For pizza, subs, sodas – suggested amount is $30 a week. We order pizza or subs for late evening snacks, delivered at 8:30pm.

Group Discounts: Team/Group discounts are given to groups who register together. For 5-9 players, the discount is $15 off for each camper. For 10 players or more, the discount is $25 for each camper. Grouping: Players are grouped first by age and then by ability

-Athletic Trainers are on site to aid in illness, injury prevention and first aid.

-Weather Plan: We utilize inclement weather opportunities to focus on team building, video analysis, individual meetings
