OVERVIEW
Heritage Middle School is home to four beautiful softball/baseball diamonds among other sports facilities. We’re excited to host the Revolution Softball Camps at Heritage Middle School. Join us and improve your softball skills this summer!
Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
Camp Director
Coach Lindsey Walljasper is a private Softball instructor with experience working with student-athletes at various levels. She has also coached multiple travel ball teams.
Walljasper competed in Division I Softball at Boise State University where she graduated with her Masters in Instructional Workplace & Design. Prior to Boise State, Walljasper competed at the University of Nebraska and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Throughout her collegiate career, Walljasper was a 5-year starter as a pitcher, outfielder, and hitter. She holds a pitching record of 60-38 with over 580 innings pitched and earned several honors including Freshman of the Week, Newcomer of the Week, Player of the Week, and Pitcher of the Week on multiple occasions.
In high school, Walljasper was a decorated 4-year starter at Sierra High School where she finished her career with an ERA of 0.97, which included a senior ERA of 0.90, a junior ERA of 0.23 and a sophomore ERA of 0.58. She also recorded 514 strikeouts in 302.1 innings pitched, including a career-high 150 strikeouts as a Sophomore. Walljasper had a career winning percentage of .760, boasting a 38-12 record with a .124 opponent batting average. Walljasper also hit .439 in her career, which included a career-best .519 as a senior. She had 68 career hits, 60 career RBIs, nine career doubles, three career triples and 11 career home runs. She also led Sierra High School to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Championship in 3 of her 4 years. She was named the CalHiSports.com California Softball Player of the Year at the conclusion of her senior season.

What to Expect
At Revolution Softball Camps you’ll receive individualized softball training through a superior curriculum regardless your age or ability level. We want young softball players to improve in every aspect of their game; our camps put a focus on individual skill development while incorporating drills and games to emphasize teamwork and fun!
Features of our softball staff include: Low camper-to-coach ratios; Groups based off of age & ability level; Fun, energetic, & experienced staff.
Supervision: The staff supervises campers for the entire duration of the softball camp. For overnight camps, the staff will reside in the dormitories with the campers, providing supervision. Campers are expected to show respect towards other campers and the host facility. All staff are background checked for added safety.

TYPICAL CAMP CURRICULUM
Batting: Will focus on batting stance, hit and runs, bunting, pull hitting, opposite field hitting, and hitting for power
Fielding: Will work on groundballs, pop-fly’s, relay throws, fly-balls, pickles, and turning double plays
Pitching: Will work on communication between catcher and pitcher, types of pitches, pitching motions, and release points
Base-Running: Will practice hit and runs, stealing, tagging up, and pickles
Position Specific Training: All campers will practice throughout the day and week training at their desired positions.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 4PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)
Half Day Campers (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.
Make sure campers bring all necessary softball equipment, a refillable water bottle, lunch, & snack. (See below)

11:45am-12:00pm – Camp Competition, Half Day Campers Depart

1:00pm-1:15pm – Warmup and Dynamic Stretching
1:15pm-2:45pm – Technical and Tactical Skills Development and Training
2:45pm-3:30pm – Controlled Situational Scrimmages and Games
3:30pm-4:00pm – Camp Competition
4:00pm – End of day for full day campers

What to Bring to Camp
Below is a suggested list of items to bring to camp. We suggest that campers do not bring expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to camp to contact their guardians, but they are not allowed on the field during training sessions. Please label every article you bring to camp. All personal items are the responsibility of each camper. Revolution Softball and its camp staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
