OVERVIEW
Heritage Middle School is home to four beautiful softball/baseball diamonds among other sports facilities. We’re excited to host the Revolution Softball Camps at Heritage Middle School. Join us and improve your softball skills this summer!
Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!
Camp Director
Coach Jake Chandler has extensive experience coaching all over the Treasure Valley. He’s also the Program Director of the 10U Program at Gametime Academy and has coached at every level from 8U-18U.
Prior to Rocky Mountain, Coach Chandler was the Head Baseball Coach at Capital High School in Boise. In his first year at Capital, Chandler guided his team to a 2nd place finish in the 2019 State Tournament and 4th place in the 2019 Idaho State Legion Tournament. That incredible run included 6 straight wins while facing elimination. During that season, Chandler’s team batted .320 as a team and had an on base percentage of .420. In his time at Capital, Chandler sent numerous players on to compete at the collegiate level. Coach Chandler’s 16 years of experience coaching high school baseball also includes successful stints at Vallivue High School and Meridian High School.
Chandler is a contributor to Baseball Northwest and has served in a variety of roles in youth baseball around the Treasure Valley, including hosting local tournaments. He is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and is a contributor to podcasts, including “Fungo Banter”.
A Boise native, Chandler was a Varsity starter at Centennial High School and earned First Team All-State honors. Chandler has a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Boise State University with an endorsement in Secondary Education as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Chandler resides in Meridian with his wife and three boys.
