Softball Camps: Here’s a Look at What the Daily Schedule is Like

Summer Softball Camp - Batting Making Contact Randolph Macon College

Before you head to one of our Revolution Softball Camps this summer, it’s always nice to know what to expect before lacing up those spikes and hitting the field. Of course, before even getting in the car and heading to camp, you must make sure everything you need is packed up.

If you’re already registered for softball camp, chances are it’s for one of these three types: overnight camp, extended day camp or day camp. What are the fundamental differences?

Well, overnight camps are just that – the full experience, including a few days away from home while staying in a dorm. Extended day camps allow softball players to get a full day’s worth of instruction before going home to sleep in their own bed at night. Day camps are framed around a regular workday and focus solely on the instruction piece of it.

Since these three camps are all slightly different, the typical daily schedule is also different. Let’s break down what you can expect in each scenario.

These schedules may vary, but this at least gives you an idea of what to expect on a day-to-day basis. Overnight campers will sleep in dorms on campus and eat their meals in the dining hall. We ensure everyone’s safety by having our staff live in the dorms with campers, along with chaperoning all off-field/evening activities.

Have you been to one of our Revolution Softball Camps and wish you could bring your whole team here? Well, we have an option for that! Lots of teams attend in order to further develop individual skills, along with team play and camaraderie.

Team attendance is not only available, but we encourage it! Appropriate housing and training goals will be assigned to each team, and a questionnaire will be sent to the team coordinator so our staff can develop a customized curriculum to help your squad reach their goals for the week.

As you can see, there’s a softball camp for every kind of person! We strive to offer as much as possible because we know everyone’s situation is different and want to make sure the opportunity to attend camp is as easy as possible.
